CLEAN YOUR GUTTERS 2-4 TIMES A YEAR.
While not commonly known, clean gutters and roof health go hand in hand. Most people clean their gutters about once a year, but this could take a toll on your roof. When your gutters fill up, water does not flow through them correctly and can introduce rot and fungus. It can also cause clogging so that water flows and pools on to your roof, which during the winter months can lead to ice dams and leaks. To ensure roof longevity, clean your gutters every 3-6 months.
